About Us
Hiyoko Global Kids McDowall is Australia’s only Japanese immersion childcare centre.
We provide a warm, family-like environment where each child is nurtured with care, encouraged to explore their creativity, and engaged through rich bilingual experiences every day.
Our small group setting, loving educators, and the unique blend of Japanese and English create a safe and inspiring place for children to play, learn, and grow into confident global citizens.
Baby(0-2)
In our Baby room, we create a calm, family-like atmosphere where each baby feels safe, loved, and understood.
We focus on gentle routines, responsive care, and sensory play to support healthy development and build trust with both babies and families.
Mixed age class(2-5)
.In our mixed age class, children of different ages learn side by side in a warm, family-like setting.
Mixed-age learning helps little ones gain confidence by watching older peers, while older children develop empathy and leadership by caring for younger friends.
Through playful learning, creative projects, and rich bilingual experiences, each child builds confidence and a strong foundation for their future.
Japanese
For children over 3 years old, we offer Japanese lessons focused on early writing and reading.
Children enjoy learning through simple games and age-appropriate writing practice using educational apps.
This approach helps them build basic Japanese literacy step by step, in a calm and encouraging bilingual environment.
From Overseas
We proudly welcomes young children from overseas, including Japan, for short-term or long-term early childhood immersion experiences.
Through our nurturing, bilingual, and multicultural environment, visiting children can enjoy everyday life in English and Japanese, make friends, and build global awareness from an early age.
